kissing slider card dinos

hey everyone!
based on ShanShan Mato's tutorial, i made this kissing slider card:
when you pull on the bow, the dinos move toward each other and reveal golden hearts and a glitter sentiment.
the dinos are from the Lawn Fawn Roar stamp and die set. the palm trees, clouds and "with love sentiment" are from Lawn fawn too. and oh, the stitched hillside too !
i used a mirror technique to stamp the opposite dino and colored them up with promarkers: pink carnation, rose pink, orchid, amethyst, arctic blue and cool aqua, pastel green and mint green for the little present.
the base sentiment is by me.
Here's the card in motion:

hope you like my card !
Lawn Fawnatics: fun with dies
-As you like it : single or multiple layers (this card has multiple layers to hide the mechanism and also to give room to let the mechanism roll back and forth smoothly)

Blank Page Muse card

Hey everyone!
it's time for another awesome challenge at Love to Scrap! and we are playing with
Blank Page Muse this time who is offering a $25 gift to their shop ! wow their stamps are so elegant ! you want to check them out!
i was lucky enough to receive some and i can never be thankful enough to Kim for her very generous and beautiful gift !

For my project i used the Butterfly mini patterned art stamp together with some gorgeous flowers from the Flower and bird sketches art stamp set and the vintage text with Bird and flowers background stamp. i just looove how they worked so well together and easily made a very classy card  !
here it is:
i used a brown versafine to stamp my images so that they would keep an elegant vintage look and added foam to my frame and flowers to make them pop up a little.
i thought the butterfly mini patterned art stamp added such a beautiful and dynamic dimension to the card if i cut it out and placed it on the border, wings opened up.
so i hope you like my card
have a nice day!
As You like it: single or multiple layers (i love multiple layers, i used to make dense Magnolia cards)

sympathy card

yesterday i made a card for a sad occasion. It's not easy to make cards like that and i wanted it to be both solemn and a bit warm...
it was my very fist attempt at embossing such fine details as the constellations of Lawn Fawn's Upon a star stamp set, and i was a little nervous cause i didn't think it would come out that well. i had bought the ranger's super fine white embossing powder and the versamark ink especially.
i was very surprised to see that it worked so well.
after embossing the stars i inked up the sky and sprinkled it with water.
then i framed it up with Mama elephant Union square die on some foam and added the grass and bunny.
the bunny was colored with 3 promarkers: ice grey1, pale grey and cool grey 4.
i wanted to highlight the card with a bow , maybe it's too long, i don't know.
the sentiment inside is a stamp by Mama elephant's shooting star set. i embossed it with holographic powder.

i'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Lawn fawnatics: new technique (super fine white embossing)
cuttlebug mania: ribbon and bows
-sss: make your own background
-All sorts: something with B (bunny, bow, black)
-As you like it: favourite way to add a sentiment (on a label or inside so i don't mess up the card if the stamping's not right as i don't have a misti. and i love to emboss it with holographic glitter)

silhouette cat

I'm trying a new technique today: silhouette card.
i've worked hard to make it colourful though.
and since the idea of a new technique was inspired by Lawn fawnatics' new challenge, i decided to make it with Lawn Fawn dies only. so here goes:
I first inked up a sky with a masked sun, using different distress inks. then added the LF leafy tree backdrop and the simple grass border with some foam to add dimension.
i then stamped a cat from the meow you doin' stamp set on a black paper with some silver ink to see its outline then fussy cut it, then turned it down so that the ink didn't show and added it to the scene.

For the birds....i searched through out my LF dies, knowing for sure that i would find something to help me out...and i did ! i couldn't stop laughing at this unexpected use of woodland critter huggers' mouth ! (i just cut out the nose, turn the mouth upside down and here are some perfect romantic birds flying away in the late sky).
so i hope you like my card!

inky fingers on valentine

today i'm showing the Valentine card i made for my darling husband this year.
i hid it in his car together with a box of fine chocolates so that he found them when going to work early in the morning.
unfortunately i wrote a word with a running pen i didn't notice that i had stained the card with dark ink on the left side of the front and even more on the back ! eeeek
ooops inky fingers !
this card's design was inspired by Kelly marie's card and was made with Lawn Fawn's how you bean stamp and die set, and with the hearts add on. the sentiment was heat embossed with glitter and the hearts were colored with promarkers (lime green, sunflower, pale yellow, ice blue and powder blue, orchid, pink carnation)
i'm entering this card in the following challenges:
-Lawn fawn inky fingers (indeed!)
as you like it: favourite way to add a sentiment: i like to add a paper on top of the card to give dimension to the sentiment and if my stamping goes wrong i don't have to make the card all over again
crafty friends: love is in the air
-sss: add a die cut
-Passion for Promarkers: add an embellishment (bow)

kite bunny pink sky

sharing a bunny card today. i made it with Lawn fawn's Yay kites stamp set.
the hello was embossed with holographic glitter and the kite has stickles
unfortunately the sky was inked on a bristol paper, that was an early test i made with distress inks and different types of papers. i kept it a long time even though it was not smoothly inked...and today i decided to use it anyway...
this is the inside of the card:
and here's the back with here again the Lawn fawn cloud border:
i'm entering this card into the following challenges:
